Lindsey Willhite joined the Wolves in October 2011 as director of public relations. The 45-year-old spent the previous 22 years as a Daily Herald sports writer, where he covered everything from high school sports to the pros. He focused on college football and basketball, but helped with the paper's coverage of the Bears, the 2005 World Series champion White Sox and the 2010 Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks. The Champaign native was graduated from Illinois State University, where he earned a B.S. degree in Finance. Willhite, his wife, Christie, and their children --- Kellie, Katie, and Michael -- live in Naperville.
