After allowing five power-play goals in the first five games of the season (14 of 19), the Wolves have surrendered only five man-advantage markers in their last 17 contests (67 of 72); Chicago ranks sixth in the league with an 89.0 efficiency rating on the penalty kill (81 of 91).

--- Peter Mannino: Earned his third straight victory on Wednesday, thwarting 25 of Grand Rapids' 27 shots ... Notched a 3-0-0 record with a 1.33 goals-against average and .955 save percentage in five outings this season ... Has held opponents to two or fewer goals in each of his five appearances

--- Chicago has allowed the fewest third-period markers of any AHL club, and is outscoring opponents, 22-10, in the final frame, which includes holding opponents scoreless in the third frame 13 times.

--- Defenseman Chris Chelios paces Wolves defensemen and shares third on the team with eight assists, and ranks sixth on the team with nine points in 14 contests; he shares second on the squad and 17th in the AHL with a +9 plus/minus rating.

--- Chicago allowed two or more goals on Friday and Saturday - the first time in seven games the team has surrendered two or more tallies in back to back games; the Wolves rank 11th in the league with an average of 2.59 goals against per game this season.

--- The Wolves have scored four power play goals in their last four games (four of 15) after being held to four man-advantage markers in their previous 13 matchups (four of 54); Chicago ranks 22nd in the league with a 13.5 rating on the power-play (12 of 89).

--- The Wolves scored 65 seconds into the game but never again on the way to a 3-1 loss to the Abbotsford Heat at the Allstate Arena
--- Center Johnny Pohl tallied Chicago's lone marker
--- Goaltender Drew MacIntyre stopped 29 of 31 shots in the loss

--- The Wolves scored twice in a span of 1:38 in the second period to earn a 3-2 win over Grand Rapids at the Allstate Arena
